Award-winning Autobahn Church

The Autobahn Church Siegerland was awarded a "Special Prize" by the internationally renowned prize "Dedalo Minosse". The focus of the jury was not only on the architectural design work, but also on the successful collaboration between the client and the architect. Therefore, the Autobahnchurch Church convinced with high quality and was awarded as the only German project. It is now the eighth prize for the church at the A 45, which is presented as a three-dimensional implementation of the church pictogram.

The award ceremony took place at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza at the end of June. A total of 400 projects from 40 countries were submitted. The prize is awarded every two years by the organization ALA – Assoarchitetti and the Regione del Veneto. It celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. After the ceremony, the accompanying exhibition of the award-winning projects was opened. This can be visited until the 16th of July in the Palazzo Chiericati Civic Museum in Vicenza. It will then travel through Italy for two years.
